I know, I know. Another hand lotion review. But I use so many and I wanted to write about my favourites 🙂
So this Nivea hand lotion is my go-to bedside cream. I like to keep a few in rotation (in my handbag, for rescue treatment, etc – read about my hand care routine here!) My nanny actually bought me this for Christmas, and I always expect good things from the brand as they have been around for so long – that doesn’t happen for no reason!
It’s a very light cream, which is perfect if you hate having greasy feeling hands and being limited to touch anything. But that doesn’t mean it is lacking in hydrating powers. This cream works on the roughest of hands so don’t be deceived by it’s light texture. It works. The smell is also very light, reminds me of the sea, making this a very inoffensive cream.
You may need to reapply it often if your hands are really chapped. I don’t think this is a huge deal as most people like to reapply lotions anyway, but be aware that it feels as though it washes off easily so will need another application every time you wash your hands.
Nothing ugly here – the price is good (£2-£3.50, depending on store), the quality is high and it’s Nivea, so it delivers. The packaging perhaps isn’t the prettiest but it isn’t the ugliest by any means, and besides, it’s simple. I would also love it to come in a travel size but 100ml will have to do 🙂
9/10 – There isn’t really much I would change about this lotion, and I would 100% recommend it.
Have you used any Nivea hand creams? What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
